President Trump scored a big goal. The 68th Congress of Fifa, that took place in Moscow, approved with 134 votes by theor feerations, that the World Cup 2026 will be hosted by three countries in Northamerica: The United States, Mexico and Canada. Trump didn’t hesitate to celebrate the event. “I worked hard on this, along with a Great Team of talented people. We never fail, and it will be a great World Cup!”

He took this deal very seriously. According to estimates, the World Cup will generate about 11 million dollars. However, the distribution of that money will be somewhat unequal. The U.S. will keep a good chunk of the cake. Sixty of the eighty games of the tournament will take place in the U.S. It is a good business for this country.

Trump showcased his signature aggressive behavior to achieve his goal. “It would be a shame if countries that we always support were to lobby against the U.S. bid. Why should we be supporting these countries when they don’t support us (including at the United Nations)? he tweeted in April. Days later, he told the president of Nigeria that he would be closely watching, and any help will be greatly appreciated.”

After threats and arguments, like the U.S. fabulous stadiums and the ability to host tourists, Trump defeated Morocco. Those who supported that option, revealed how a very small portion of the U.S. is interested in soccer. At the same time, the Moroccans bragged that their country is one of the safest in the world, and the use of guns is banned for civilians, with a clear allusion to the massacres that regularly take place in the U.S.

Getting the world cup in 2026 was not the only victory Trump has had recently. The U.S. Supreme Court approved the third executive order that restricts the access of certain people in the U.S. According to this “travel ban”, nationals from six Muslim countries, as well as North Korea and Venezuela can’t come to the U.S. This decision ratifies Trump’s authority and supports his immigration policies.

He wasn’t happy with two goals, so he made a lucky third score. He will have the opportunity to appoint the judge that will replace Anthony Kennedy, who is retiring. Kennedy was the swing vote that could see with conservatives or liberals, according to the situation. Trump has now a green light to find a substitute that will guarantee that the court will remain conservative.

Analysts believe that Trump will make his decision before the midterm elections, and without the opposition’s consent. Trump will not pass on the opportunity to further his agenda with the support of the Supreme Court.
